Key Components

  • SDN-Based Network Separation for Smart Buildings: Realizing network separation technology in the secure data zones of KISTI research buildings to enable safe data utilization based on the KISTI supercomputer/research network. This technology can be used in IDC centers and smart apartments
  • Data Safety Zone realization with 5G+ Integration: network slicing and separation at KISTI research buildings by integrating 5G+ technology including 60GHz wireless networks
  • Smart Factory Development Using 5G+, AI, SDN, and Edge Computing: Utilizing data, AI, and SDN-based 5G+ networks to establish and realize intelligent smart factories with low-cost 5G+ infrastructure tailored to industrial needs, integrating robotic automation, AI vision systems, automated feeding systems, IoT platforms, and AI solutions.
  • Resolving Smart Factory Bottlenecks: Addressing issues such as data loss, transmission delay, reduced factory operation rates, and lower production yields due to network bottlenecks in smart factories through the realization of digital transformation technologies linked with Data-Network-AI.

Anticipated Outcomes and Benefits

  • Smart Factory Applications: Combining verified core technologies with intelligent factory management systems to commercialize digital twin solutions tailored for smart factories.
  • Smart Building Applications: The realization technology of 5G+ private network-based network separation will be applied and commercialized in smart apartments and similar settings for network separation and security.
  • Government Data Safety Zone Infrastructure: The ability to independently configure network slices, enabling network separation by device or time for wired and wireless services, will allow for the construction of data-safe zones.
  • This technology can be applied to government institutions and universities for secure mobile wireless network infrastructure
